With the addition of our state-of-the-art machine shop, Aircraft Electric Motors has developed the capabilities to manufacture new and existing products for aerospace clients. We can support other industries requiring specialized machine shop work as well. We offer a variety of services, including but not limited to, design, build, sampling, and reverse engineering. We are fully supported by our expert engineering staff and we are fluent in AutoCAD, Solidworks 3D and other computer modeling systems used to assist in the CNC production of parts from blueprints. Our new 3D printing capability is used to prove out machining processes and verify set-ups.
AEM’s manufacturing engineers will oversee initial machine shop set-ups and programming to make certain that your parts are produced in exact accordance with manufacturer specifications or FAA approved data. Your parts will be manufactured using our cutting-edge CNC equipment such as water jet, multi axis turning mills (up to 5 axis), CNC lathes, and precision CNC grinders. Before your parts leave the machine shop they will go through a series of in process inspections by our quality control team. Once a project is finished, we will deliver a quality part accompanied by a certificate of conformance and and/or other pertinent paperwork such as 8130’s, COC’s, FAI’s, CMM print outs, or DIP’s.
