Aircraft Electric Motors is seeking a Receiving Inspector to join our quality team. As a Receiving Inspector, you will be part of the quality department, supporting aerospace repair and hardware incoming inspections. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, motivation to learn, and strong communication skills which will align successfully in our organization. The receiving inspector checks incoming repair orders, parts, raw materials, and hardware to verify they match engineering drawings, purchase orders, and quality standards. They use precision tools to check items, review supplier certifications, and approve or reject shipments before routing them into production or inventory. The Receiving Inspector will:

Perform documented inspections of incoming aerospace repair orders, hardware and materials

Verify purchase order compliance and review supplier documentation including Certificates of Conformance and test reports

Conduct dimensional and visual inspections using calibrated tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges

Compare inspection results against engineering drawings and specifications, escalating discrepancies as needed

Accurately record inspection results and maintain traceability documentation in company computer systems

  • 18 months of aerospace inspection experience
  • Work overtime if needed
  • Strong attention to detail and dependability
  • Possess basic clerical skills with a willingness to work neatly
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Ability to follow structured procedures and communicate effectively
  • Pre-employment FAA Drug Test required.
