AEM Installs New Mitutoyo Quick Vision Active 202 CNC VMS
AEM continues to invest in its metrology department and has recently acquired a Mitutoyo Quick Vision Active 202, CNC Vision Measuring System. Vision Measuring Systems enable faster and more accurate edge detection, pattern recognition and measurement accuracy for all of our internal parts inspections. The machine has a measuring capability of 10” x-axis, 8” y-axis, and 6” z-axis. This VMS machine will allow us to quickly and precisely measure profile’s and depth’s of small parts and components. The machine has quick setups and programming that are excellent for measuring all the various components used in our aerospace manufacturing and repair processes.
